AUCTION - AOR 2.363 - "Are We Next?" - Wes Wilson - First-Ever 1964 Poster - Excellent

Offered here is an original first printing of the historic Vietnam War protest poster "Are We Next?"—the debut published work by the legendary Wes Wilson, widely celebrated as the dean of San Francisco poster artists. Featuring a provocative juxtaposition of a German swastika against the imagery of the American flag, the poster serves as a powerful artifact of the 1960s counterculture movement.

Wilson both designed and self-distributed this piece, stating, "I just put it out there to stir people up to thinking about things." This early work predates his iconic 1966 concert posters for the Fillmore Auditorium and Avalon Ballroom, marking the beginning of his influential career.

Dimensions: 11 1/4" x 21".
Condition: Excellent. The piece displays lightened colors consistent with past framing, minor toning, a subtle bend on the bottom left corner, and slight compression at the upper corners.  There are two pieces of framer's tape at the top on the verso.
