This original poster for the Magic Mountain Music Festival is a fantastic piece. The festival took place at the Mt. Tamalpais Outdoor Amphitheater in Marin County, just across the Golden Gate Bridge, on June 3-4, 1967. This event occurred just two weeks before the Monterey Pop Festival, making it one of the first-ever multi-day music festivals.

Some of the bands that performed include The Doors, Moby Grape, The Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, and The Seeds, among others. The design was created by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, both of whom have personally hand-signed the poster in gold ink at the bottom center of the image. This poster is featured in "The Art of Rock" book on page 227, plate 2.319.

It measures 19" x 28" and is in very good condition, with restored tack holes in the corners and long diagonal tape pulls on the reverse. Overall, it's very presentable.
