This original poster for the Magic Mountain Music Festival is a remarkable piece of history. The festival took place at the Mt. Tamalpais Outdoor Amphitheater in Marin County, just across the Golden Gate Bridge, on June 3-4, 1967. This event occurred just two weeks before the Monterey Pop Festival, making it one of the first multi-day music festivals ever held.

Some of the bands that performed include The Doors, Moby Grape, The Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, and The Seeds, among others. The poster's design was created by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. This poster is featured in "The Art of Rock," on page 227, plate 2.319.

It measures 19" x 28" and is in excellent condition, though it has pinholes in the corners and some handling wear throughout.
