The original, first print of the classic concert poster from Sausalito, CA. The club was called the Ark and it was an old ship moored to the dock. Must have been wild. The image is taken from an old French advertising poster from the1890's. Very beautiful. Headlining is Big Brother & the Holding Co. featuring Janis Joplin. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 224 plate 2.309. Measures 16" X 22". In excellent condition. Has three tack holes in the top corners and top center. Light handling. Also two tears along the top. Colors remain rich and bright. Highly sought after.
