AUCTION - AOR 2.298 - Cosmic Car Show - Mouse Signed - 1967 Poster - Muir Beach - Excellent

 This is an interesting and unique concert poster from September 2, 1967, titled "Cosmic Car Show." The event featured a car show with all entries decorated in a psychedelic style. The judge for the competition was the renowned poster artist Stanley Mouse. The poster, also created by Stanley Mouse, is a special edition because he has personally hand-signed it in pencil in the bottom right yellow area, just below the front tire of the car depicted. It is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 221, plate 2.298. The poster measures 17" x 23" and is in condition, with light handling bends, toning, and tape stains on the back.
