Check out this amazing original concert poster for the Grateful Dead. Here they are at one of their favorite haunts, the Avalon Ballroom. The dates were April 4-6, 1969. One of the opening bands was the Flying Burrito Brothers featuring Gram Parsons. Crazy psychedelic art by Jack Jaxon. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 110, plate 2.25. Printed by the Rip Off Press on thin, glossy, paper stock. Measures approximately 14” X 17”.It's the first printing poster, measuring approximately 14" x 17". In good condition with horizontal bends throughout, single tack holes in the corners, mall lower left corner missing, tape stains and pulls in the reverse.
