Here is an original handbill for the event that launched the Summer of Love: the Human Be-In, held in Golden Gate Park on January 14, 1967. This event featured performances by the Grateful Dead, The Charlatans, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsberg, and many others. It was free in the park and included multiple speakers and bands. The handbill showcases incredible artwork by Rick Griffin, which is featured in the book "The Art of Rock" on page 197, plate 2.215.

This handbill measures 8.5" x 11". Its condition is excellent, though it has some pinholes in the corners, a small bend in the lower right corner, and minor edge wear on the right side. This handbill represents a seminal event and features artwork by one of the most celebrated artists of the time.
