AUCTION - AOR 2.18 - Grateful Dead Allen Ginsberg - 1967 Poster - Avalon Ballroom - Near Mint Minus

Fantastic original "Krishna Consciousness Come West" benefit concert poster from the Avalon Ballroom. The Grateful Dead, Moby Grape and Big Brother& the Holding Co. with Janis Joplin playing as well as Allen Ginsberg reciting poetry sounds like a pretty good night. Dated January 29,1967 and only 2 weeks after the Human Be-In and headed straight for the Summer of Love. This poster is pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 107 plate 2.18. Measures 12 7/8" X 19 7/8". This poster remains in near mint minus condition with only a tiny ding on the lower-left edge and a couple of light age spots. Scarce original.
