Offered here is a rare, original concert poster with The Grateful Dead, poet Michael McClure, and more. This is the first time the Dead performed at the Avalon Ballroom. The date was  May 19, 1966. Art by Jacob. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 106 plate 2.16. Measures 13 7/8" X 20". Condition is Excellent with pinholes in each corner. Has stains in the bottom left corner and surface wear on the "R" in Ballroom at the bottom. Also Handling.
