AUCTION - AOR 2.119 - Spooky Tooth - 1968 Poster - Matrix - Excellent

Original concert poster from the legendary club in San Francisco called the Matrix. Printed by Bindweed Press, the artists were Marty Rice and George Chacona. They outdid themselves on this one. Spooky Tooth, SeaTrain, and other bands are featured as part of their upcoming calendar. Designed to look like an underground comic page, the wild design is full of humor and fantastic visuals. Great characters throughout! A really engaging piece from 1968 and featured in the Art of Rock book on page 168, plate 2.119. This super cool Matrix poster measures 17 1/2" x 22 3/4". The condition is Excellent, with an edge tear and bend at the bottom left-center, along with edge wear and handling owing to its size. Looks beautiful.
