AUCTION - Alton Kelley Collection - Grateful Dead On The Road - Kelley Signed - 1978 Poster - Excellent

Here is a fine poster to promote the Dead’s 1978 tours, this poster features the classic skull and roses image at center with some stylized "GD" initials below and "On The Road" in text. This image was also used in 1979 as the original cover art for the first Grateful Dead songbook, called Grateful Dead Anthology.

It is from the estate of Alton Kelley and is also signed on the front in silver ink and on the reverse "To Marguerite Love, Kelley". It measures roughly 18 1/4" x 28 1/4". and it's in excellent condition with handling,  a top-right corner bend and bottom left corner ding and light scuffing.
