Offered here is Wes Wilson's poster for Michael McClure’s The Beard at the Fillmore Auditorium in 1966. Wes Wilson’s art advertises the transgressive play by Michael McClure with its ribald themes and over-the-top sex scene.

Wes Wilson has hand-signed this poster in pencil. The poster is in excellent condition witH corner bends, edge wear and handling. The original poster was printed on vellum and measures approximately 14″ x 20″. Original printings have a white reverse.
