This wonderfully intricate poster by Harry Rossit is for the 1995 tour of Led Zeppelin superstars Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. They played two shows for Bill Graham Presents, one at the San Jose Arena, and the other at the Oakland Coliseum. The Tragically Hip opened both shows. The artwork here is superlative. Plant and Page are meticulously depicted as sphinxes. Artist Harry Rossit is an absolute perfectionist and puts enormous effort into detail in his works. The Egyptian motif continues on the border, where Robert, Jimmy, Bill Graham, and Harry Rossit himself can all be found amongst the hieroglyphics. Truly impressive work throughout. This Bill Graham Presents poster measures 18 1/2" X 28 1/2" and is CGC 8.0.
