One of the most sought-after items in the psychedelic concert poster hobby is the original, pre-show first printing of the first Family Dog concert poster. This rare poster advertises a single performance by the Jefferson Airplane and Big Brother & The Holding Company, taking place on Saturday night, February 19, 1966, at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium.

FD-1 is considered a key psychedelic concert poster that collectors desire but only a fortunate few have been able to obtain. The estimated print run is around 250 copies, and most of these were discarded after the concert. The poster was designed by the renowned artist Wes Wilson, who signed it in the lower right margin. It is CGC Graded 6.5 and measures 13 ¾ inches by 19 ¾ inches.
