AUCTION - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers - Jim Phillips - Set of Four 1997 Posters - Fillmore Auditorium - Near Mint Minus

You have the opportunity to own a collection of four sought-after posters from the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, California. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers performed a legendary 20-night series at the Fillmore in early 1997. Each night, their guitars and gear were left on stage, and Tom announced "we're the house band," holding court for nearly a month. The band also featured legendary opening acts such as John Lee Hooker, Carl Perkins, Roger McGuinn, and Lucinda Williams. These shows were incredibly fun for both the band and the audience, as they played popular hits and obscure covers, including the James Bond theme "Goldfinger." In the New Fillmore numbering system, the posters are labeled as 251, 253, 254, and 255. The missing number is due to another band being booked in advance. The artwork for all four posters was created by Jim Phillips, who incorporated San Francisco landmarks into each piece, culminating with the chandeliers inside the Fillmore Auditorium. Each poster measures 13" x 19" and is in near mint condition, with only minimal corner tips and slight handling.
