This is an original uncut sheet containing three handbills promoting a benefit concert that took place at the Fillmore Auditorium on March 18th, 1987. The concert was a star-studded event featuring musicians from several prominent Bay Area bands of the sixties including Jerry Garcia, John Cippolina, Country Joe McDonald, Maria Muldaur, Merle Saunders, and many others. This particular item is hand-signed by Alton Kelley in the bottom right of one of the handbills. Additionally, it comes from Alton Kelley's personal archive and is also hand-signed to his wife on the reverse. This unique piece measures 5 9/16" x 21 1/2" and is in near-mint condition.
