Here we have an original concert poster from Golden Star Promotions, who did a lot of shows north of the Golden Gate bridge. This one is for a show at Fairfax Park Pavilion, in Fairfax, CA., Held on March 3, 1967. Golden Star did a lot of shows at the Pavilion. So much so, that they made an all-purpose "blank" poster for the venue, adding the individual show information and artwork as needed. Here we have a lovely, split-fountain at the top for the Mojo Men, who had a minor hit with Stephen stills "Sit Down I Think I Love Ya". Davis, California favorites, the Oxford Circle, opened the show. Interestingly, the show price had gone up since the blanks were printed and a hand-drawn adjustment had to be made to the price of admission.  The artist was Rick Van Krugel from "Haffbadd” (with Jeff Bower) who made posters for Santa Rosa’s Golden Star in the mid to late sixties. This cardboard stock original poster measures 14" X 22", approximately. The condition is Good, with the bottom right corner missing, corner bends, staple holes, pinholes, writing on the reverse, and light stains. Very presentable.
