This is a fantastic and original concert poster for the Continental Ballroom in Santa Clara, CA. The lineup features Big Brother & the Holding Company with Janis Joplin, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Freedom Highway, and Heather Stone. This event marks the grand opening shows, taking place on July 14-15, 1967. The design is by Grasshopper and is included in the book "The Art of Rock," on page 233, plate 2.345. The poster was printed only once and is in excellent condition, showing very light handling and minimal corner wear. It measures 14 1/4" x 20 1/4".
