AUCTION - Grateful Dead - On The Road - Mouse Kelley Double Signed - 1997 Poster - Near Mint Minus

This impressive Grateful Dead poster, titled "On the Road," was created by Mouse Studios to promote the band's 1978 tours. At its center, it features the iconic skull and roses image, with stylized "GD" initials below and the text "On The Road." This artwork was also used in 1979 as the original cover for the first Grateful Dead songbook, titled "Grateful Dead Anthology," and later for "Grateful Dead Anthology II" in 1997.

The poster is signed by artists Alton Kelley and Stanley Mouse and is embossed with the Mouse Studios logo in the lower right corner. It comes from the estate of Alton Kelley and includes an inscription on the reverse that reads, "To Marguerite Love, Kelley." The poster measures 16" x 20" and is in near-mint minus condition with light handling.
