Here we have one of the most sought-after posters in the world. This original 1st print of FD26 features the Grateful Dead and the Oxford Circle, with dates of September 16-17, 1966. It marks the first time this image has been associated with the Grateful Dead. The design is by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. Both artists have hand-signed this poster in pencil in the lower right corner. The promoter, Chet Helms, has also hand-signed this poster in black ink in the lower left bottom.

It measures 14" X 19 13/16". The condition is Very Good, having undergone restoration to repair tack holes, tears, and wrinkles. The colors have lightened. This is a very presentable example with a great group of signatures.
