AUCTION - AOR Page 68 - Charlatans - 1967 Poster - Sokol Hall - Near Mint

Original concert poster from San Francisco CA. Designed by Alton Kelley and pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 68. The performers were the Charlatans, Lynne Hughes (who sang and performed with The Charlatans), and the Electric Chamber Orkustra. This concert was held at Sokol Hall located in the Haight Ashbury district. The date was March 4, 1967. The promoters called themselves the "Northern California Psychedelic Cattlemen's Assoc. Ltd.". It turns out that they were actually the original,pre-Chet Helms Family Dog group that included Alton Kelley from back in 1965. Measures 14 1/4" X 20". Condition- Near Mint.
