We are excited to present this rare and original concert poster from the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, MI. The Grande was a prominent venue like the Fillmore, featuring performances from various artists. Created by artist Gary Grimshaw, this poster is a prime example of psychedelic art. It features exceptional lettering and a 3-D photograph by Irving Penn, making it suitable for the Fillmore or Avalon series. The lineup included the Paupers, MC5, Rationals, Thyme, and Gang, and the dates were November 3-5, 1967. This poster is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 298, plate 3.137, it's #51 in the Grande Series. It measures approximately 12 1/2" x 22" and is in very good condition, with only horizontal bends and a number written in pencil on the reverse. There are no pinholes, and it has never been hung. A must-have for collectors!
