AOR 4.93 - Grateful Dead - San Andreas Fault - 1970 Poster - Euphoria - Rough

The image gained fame when it was used to promote a Grateful Dead concert at Euphoria in July 1970. Euphoria, also known as Pepperland, was a small venue in San Rafael that featured many up-and-coming Bay Area bands. Posters from Euphoria are now quite rare due to their limited print runs. This particular poster is one of the most iconic from the venue and is rarely available for purchase. Originally, only one show was scheduled for July 14, but a second show was added on July 16, and all copies of the poster reflect this updated information. The artist behind the design was San Andreas Fault.

The poster has a significant amount of dried tape applied in various directions, a tears on the lower left margin and upper right, tape pulls with a layer of paper missing and some toning.  It was printed on white index stock and measures approximately 14″ x 18″.
