AUCTION - Yreka Teen Center Dance - 1968 Poster - Northern California - Excellent

Offered here for auction is a very bright, very psychedelic poster from Northern California. The venue was the Yreka Vets Hall in Yreka, CA. The show date was October 19, 1968. Printed on thin, glossy stock, the piece features bright blue psychedelic lettering over a screaming Day-Glo pink background. Held in support of the Yreka Teen Center, the gig had one of the best band names ever: Hercules and the Chicken Fat People! The artwork is by Vegas, who did several Yreka posters. Really a great small-town poster, with a very small print run. The piece measures 13 3/4" x 22 1/2" and is in Excellent condition, with a horizontal fold across the middle, corner bends in the upper corners, and a small amount of writing in blue pen on the reverse (not visible from the front), edge wear and handling. The colors are still very loud and vibrant!
