AUCTION - The Sunshine Co. - 1967 Poster - Happening Seattle - Very Good

This exceedingly rare Seattle poster is for a pair of dance concerts promoted by Sunshine Enterprises in 1967. The bands were local, with the Rum Runners and the Rotations. The venue was called Happening and the show dates were October 13-14, 1967. The artwork is by Tony Schmid, who did quite a few Sunshine Enterprises posters. Great Mr. Sun face centering the piece, to go with the orange and black color scheme. This very rare Seattle poster measures 15" x 22" and it's in Very Good condition, with tack holes in each corner, toning, comes rolled, has tape stains on the reverse, corner bends, and handling. That said, the piece looks great. Moreover, this is the only one we have ever seen in over 31 years!
