AUCTION - San Francisco International Pop Festival - 1968 Poster - Creedence/Iron Butterfly - Near Mint

Here is a whimsically designed poster for the often-overlooked 1968 San Francisco International Pop Festival. The festival was held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds the weekend of October 26 and 27. The lineup was surprisingly strong with the likes of Procol Harum, Iron Butterfly, The Chambers Brothers, Johnny Rivers, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Canned Heat, Buddy Miles, The Grass Roots, and Deep Purple. The image was designed by Carson-Morris Studios, the same graphic design studio that produced the 1968 Northern California Folk Rock Festival. The poster measures 25” x 19”. The condition is near mint.
