AUCTION - Pooh - Hippie Coffee Shop Promo 1960's Handbill - Excellent

Offered for auction is a super cute handbill for a short-lived coffee house from circa 1966-67. Named "Pooh" after everyone's favorite bear. The coffee shop was in the Inner Mission district in San Francisco, Ca. Contact info lists a certain Christopher Robin. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. This whimsical piece was printed by the Bindweed Press and the artwork is by Morningstar. Charming drawing of Winnie the Pooh floating through the air, hanging from a balloon. Surrounded by a circular stained glass motif, the overall effect is very sweet and warm. Measuring 8 1/2" x 11", the handbill is in Excellent condition, with handling throughout.
