AUCTION - Kiss-In - 1967 Protest Handbill - Hall of Justice SF - Very Good
AUCTION - Kiss-In - 1967 Protest Handbill - Hall of Justice SF - Very Good
What a wild piece we are offering here. This is an original handbill on heavy, off green stock announcing a fun protest that was held on the front steps of the Hall of Justice in downtown San Francisco, CA. The date was June 2, 1967. A 19 year-old man was arrested for kissing his 16 year-old wife. So, this was a rally for as many people as they could get to come down to the Hall of Justice to kiss each other in front of the lawyers and police. Great political theater. This is only the second one of these we have seen. Very obscure. Measures 8 1/2" x 11". It's in very good condition with several tape stains and bends in the upper right corner.
