AUCTION - FD-10 - Hayfever Grateful Dead - 1966 Handbill - Avalon Ballroom - Excellent

Offered here is one of the rarest of all handbills in the Family Dog or Fillmore series. This is FD 10 and known as"Hayfever". The bands were the Grateful Dead, Grass Roots, and the Leaves. Dated May 27-28,1966. Very Rare. It turns out that a lot of these were destroyed shortly after the concert in 1966 and helps explain why this handbill
is so very rare. This is a set breaker usually. Design by Wes Wilson. Measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2". This handbill is in excellent condition with some handling and bending. Also light surface scuff above the "F" in Hayfever at the top.
A must-have.
