AUCTION - FD-52 - Big Brother Janis Joplin - 1967 Poster - Avalon Ballroom - Near Mint Minus

Original concert poster from the Family Dog poster series. This one is known as FD-52. The bands were Big Brother & the Holding Co. with Janis Joplin on vocals, Sir Douglas Quintet, and jazz great Charles Lloyd. A great night I'm sure. Humorous poster design by Rick Griffin. His printed signature reads "Michelangelo and Rick Griffin". The dates were March 17-18, 1967. Held at the Avalon Ballroom.

Measures 14 3/8" X 20".The condition is Near Mint Minus. It has 2 light surface scratches in the lower left corner and two pieces of tape on the
reverse.
