AUCTION - Cold - New York City '00 - Emek - Foil Silkscreen - Excellent

Offered here is an early Emek that rarely shows up anymore. This silkscreen was designed for a record release party at the now-closed, but always infamous CBGB’s in New York City, in 2000. This is the foil spider brain variant edition. The poster measures about 30 ¼” x 20 ½”. It is signed & doodled by Emek. The condition is excellent with handling bends in the upper right, a scratch and ink on the reverse. It's printed on very thin foil paper. The poster exhibits moderate waviness or rippling. This is caused by exposure to humidity. We find this to be fairly common on some of Emek’s earlier posters with a thinner weight stock.
