AUCTION - Deno and Carlos - 1967 Poster - North Beach San Francisco - Excellent

This is a quite rare poster is from the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco, known for its Italian community,  Beatniks, and good food. This piece is for a series of nights of "Amplified Ohm" at Deno and Carlo's restaurant. The month was November and we believe the year was 1967 because the final week would shift a day due to Thanksgiving. The artist signed VAG. Done in bright, deep red on white stock, The piece measures 17 1/2" x 22 1/2". This scarce poster is in Excellent condition, with handling throughout and toning around the edges and on the reverse. No tack holes, and no tape. Never put up. This is only the second one we have seen in 30 years!
