AUCTION - Cream "Paisley" - Gary Grimshaw - 1968 Detroit Poster - Grande Ballroom - Good

We are pleased to offer the figurative Cream of the crop of all Grande Ballroom Cream posters. Cream, rock's first power trio, played the Grande Ballroom 4 times between 1967-1968. Three posters and one postcard were created for the shows. All done by the late and immensely talented Gary Grimshaw. Of the three posters, the Cream Paisley is the most beautifully and skillfully designed with its rococo flourishes and classic photo of the band. This is the original 1st printing. The poster is very faded from being framed for years, it measures about 21” x 13”. The poster is in good condition. The poster was previously framed and exhibits significant fading, check out the border and the body. It has single tack holes in the corners, handling bends, tape stains, and toning on the reverse. Check out the border and the body. This is a great opportunity to fill that hole in your Grande Ballroom or Cream poster collection
