Seattle area posters have really claimed their place in the collecting world these days. Here we have City Zu playing at the Buria Theater in Buria, WA., outside Seattle. City Zu shares the bill with the Lisa Hartwell Dancers. Groovy psychedelic artwork is by Pacific Northwest heavyweight, John Moehring, who did tremendously varied work, all of which is top-notch. A marvelous artist who numbered his own work. This one is number 17. Very trippy and intense, but at the same time a bit understated and calming. Great stuff. This poster is featured in the wonderful guide to Seattle area art, Split Fountain Hieroglyphics, on page 81, plate 05B. This fantastic and rare cardboard poster measures 14 3/16" x 21 15/16". In Excellent condition, with pinholes in the corners, toning, and some very minor handling. For a cardboard poster, this piece is in great shape.
