Here is a super cool promotional item from Island Records for the great Bob Marley. This is a record store countertop stand up display from July 1975. Island Records borrowed the front cover of Melody Maker magazine for this one. A touching photograph of Bob Marley graces the cover, along with a fantastic article about the Wailers' British tour. Really captures the spirit of the time. Reggae was just starting to become a worldwide phenomenon. "Marley, King of Reggae", the headline reads. Duly anointed and the rest is history. An amazingly cool countertop standup promotional display piece, which measures 21 7/8" X 27 3/4". In Near Mint Minus condition, with a little corner wear at the bottom two corners. Wonderful piece
