AUCTION - BG-8 - Andy Warhol Velvet Underground - 1966 Handbill - Fillmore Auditorium - Excellent

Up for auction here is a  rare original concert handbill from the Fillmore Auditorium. This is known as BG 8 and features Andy Warhol & His Exploding Plastic Inevitable multi-media show featuring the Velvet Underground and Nico. These shows were held on May 27-29,1966. Very important. Pop Art and Rock & Roll collide in 1966. Also performing were Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. Also known as BG-8 this is the Type B handbill is printed on bright pink paper in black ink and has a blank reverse. It measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2". In excellent condition with handling and bends.
