AUCTION - AOR Pg. 78 - Pacific Ocean Trading Co. - Stanley Mouse Signed - 1967 Poster - Very Good

Offered here is a very rare, original silkscreen poster from 1967. This is a promotional poster for a Haight Street store that was run by poster artist, Stanley Mouse. Can you imagine? The shop was called the Pacific Ocean Trading Co., which is an acronym for POT Co. Very clever, and in the Summer of Love, very much of the time. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 78. As a bonus, Mouse has signed this poster in black ink boldly across the bottom under the artwork. Measures 21" X 26". Maybe 50 or so of these were printed as compared to thousands of each Fillmore or Avalon poster he was doing at the same time. Very rare. In very good condition.Has two horizontal folds across the poster as well as a few other smaller bends and folds. Light staining. Also handling. The back has dirt stains and a bit of writing. A very presentable example of a rare, early Stanley Mouse original silkscreen poster.
