AUCTION - AOR 4.13 - Hells Angels - Randy Tuten Artist Signed - 1971 Poster - Longshoremens Hall - Near Mint Minus
Here's an incredibly cool black-and-white proof of a normally very red poster by Fillmore Atist. Randy Tuten. This is for the Hells Angels' annual party, coincidentally also a benefit for the Clap Clinic! Cold Blood, Cat Mother, Gold, and the Ghetto Fox performed at the Longshoremens hall in San Francisco, CA. The benefit was held on July 23, 1971. The full-color version of the poster is pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 335, plate 4.13. Super intense collage at the center, with a mountain of skulls as a backdrop for a woman on top of a skeleton. As an added bonus, Randy Tuten has hand-signed on the piece in pencil at the bottom right corner. Printed by the Company & Sons. The piece measures 13 1/8" x 20 1/16", approximately. In Near Mint Minus condition, with a corner bend at the upper right and a small bit of handling. Never put up. Hells Angels pieces are quite desirable and this is a very rare piece.
