AUCTION - Second Coming 1966 Handbill - The Matrix - Condition - Excellent

Here's a very cool handbill from the legendary nightclub, the Matrix. The band is the Second Coming, and their engagement began on September 16th, 1967. The artwork is by Tom Weller, a well known Berkeley, California artist, who did a lot of work in the East Bay. Printed by the Berkeley Free Press, so it naturally has a union bug! Done in a monochrome bright red, the piece stands out on a wall. The Second Coming was a band. This original Matrix concert poster measures 8 1/2" x 14"  and is in Excellent condition, with two staple holes in the upper left corner, multiple folds (now lays flat), and some handling. Really early piece.
