This very scarce, Otis Redding boxing-style handbill is from August 27, 1967. Here is, the Bar-Kays at the Oakland Auditorium in Oakland, CA. Here we have Otis Redding at the peak of his powers, a scant three months and change before his untimely death. Done like an old-school R&B poster, we get a magnificent photo of Otis, with eight of his biggest songs on either side of it. Just classic stuff. This is the real deal. Otis Redding and his Revue, with music by the Otis Redding Orchestra. Full-on, high-powered Soul show! This rare handbill measures 7 1/2" x 10 7/8", approximately. The piece is in Excellent condition, with handling, was folded in fourths, and has some discoloration on the reverse. Classic handbill for a truly class act!
