AUCTION - AOR 2.107 - Moby Grape - 1966 Poster - Matrix - Very Good

Offered here is a very rare, original concert poster from the Matrix in San Francisco, CA. Moby Grape is playing three nights, December 6–8, 1966. Moby Grape was only about two months old at this point. They probably printed only 500 or so of these at the same time the Bill Graham and Family Dog print runs were already 2000–3000 per poster. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 162, plate 2.107. This poster measures14 3/16” x 20”. The condition is Very Good, with staple holes and pinholes in all corners, edge wear, handling, and staple holes under the “A“ in Grape.
