Offered here is the classic Grateful Dead handbill/card with psychedelic artwork by Mari Tepper. This was a benefit concert (marijuana defense), held at Winterland Arena in San Francisco, CA. The date was October 22nd, 1967. Also performing was Quicksilver Messenger Service and Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin on vocals. Three of the top bands of 1967 and all three had shared the stage at the Monterey Pop Festival only four months earlier. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 193, plate 2.205.
