AUCTION - U2 - Madness - Boy Tour - California Hall - 1981 Concert Poster - Excellent

Here is an original U2 concert poster from their 1981 "Boy Tour." Professional cameras were filming when the tour reached California Hall in San Francisco on May 15, 1981, and you can watch the band perform “Out of Control” on YouTube. At that time, their setlist was quite limited; when audiences called for an encore, they had to play “I Will Follow,” “The Ocean,” and “11 O’Clock Tick Tock” again, even though they had already performed these songs in the main set. The opening act for this show was Romeo Void, and the poster also promotes upcoming performances by Split Enz and Madness.

The poster measures 11" x 17" and is in excellent condition, showing some toning, edge wear, handling, and corner bends and a slight curl at the top. The back of the poster has a 2" strip of toning along the top border.
