AUCTION - Blue Cheer - Kenvin Lyman - Salt Lake City - 1968 Concert Poster - Excellent
AUCTION - Blue Cheer - Kenvin Lyman - Salt Lake City - 1968 Concert Poster - Excellent
This is an original first-printing poster featuring Blue Cheer and Clear Light at the Fairgrounds Coliseum, with lighting provided by Jerry Abrams Head Lights. The concert took place on April 13, 1968. The poster showcases beautiful psychedelic artwork by the late Kenvin Lyman, one of the two Rainbow Jam Light Artists, alongside Richard Winn Taylor. Together, they produced many captivating light shows for rock concerts and planetarium events in Utah, as well as shows for the Family Dog during the late 1960s and 1970s.
Due to the expense of the silver ink and the large size, only a limited number of these posters were printed for this significant Salt Lake City concert. The poster is in excellent condition, with light handling bends, edge wear in the top margin and a small tape pull in the top left margin, and it measures 22.5" by 27.5".
