This is a highly sought-after original concert handbill from the Fillmore series, featuring the Velvet Underground with Nico and the Exploding Plastic Inevitable. The concert took place from May 27 to May 29, 1966, marking a notable early performance that included Andy Warhol. The opening band was the Mothers of Invention, led by Frank Zappa. The artwork for the handbill was created by Wes Wilson.

This is a Type A handbill printed on bright pink paper in black ink, and it includes a Los Angeles Times review on the reverse side. It is in near-mint condition and measures 5 inches by 8 inches.

This handbill remains an excellent original example of the Velvet Underground's first appearance in San Francisco.
