AUCTION - BG-43 - Otis Redding - Grateful Dead - Bonnie MacLean - 1966 Handbill - Fillmore Auditorium - Near Mint Minus

This is an original variant BG-43 handbill created by Bonnie MacLean, distinctly different from the more recognized Wes Wilson design associated with this issue. This monochromatic version by MacLean is not included in the "Art of Rock." Bonnie produced these alternate designs to promote the shows, and this rare variant has been confirmed as a Pre-Concert Original Printing.
The handbill was created for the legendary Otis Redding at the Fillmore, where he made his only appearance for three nights in December 1966. Each night featured a different opening act, with the Grateful Dead performing on the first night of the Otis Redding concerts. The handbill was printed on thin white stock and measures approximately 5″ x 7⅝″. It is in near mint minus condition, showing only light handling.
