AUCTION - Psychedelic - Creedence Clearwater - 1967 Poster - San Pablo, CA - Very Good

This poster up for auction is for Creedence Clearwater Revival. Here they are on a bill with Traumatic Experience and the Bus. The venue is the Y. Knot Ballroom at the fabulous Lucky Lanes Bowling Alley, in San Pablo, CA. This is very close to El Cerrito, CA., the birthplace of the band. The show dates were July 13-14, 1968, a scant ten days after their Fillmore debut. Hometown show for sure. A very pleasantly psychedelic piece, done in lovely red and green, which measures 17 5/8" X 22". The condition ions Very Good. The poster was never put up but has three horizontal folds and one vertical fold. Now lays flat. There is handling throughout, one small edge tear at the top center and a few light stains across the top border. Really a very handsome piece from an obscure local venue and quite scarce.
