AUCTION - Crazy World of Arthur Brown - 1968 Board Poster - Seattle - Very Good

This striking poster is from the Pacific Northwest. Seattle Washington's Seattle Center Arena played host to the Crazy World of Arthur Brown on December 8, 1968. Done on cardboard stock, the artwork features a negative photographic image of Arthur Brown surrounded by super intense fiery orange and red circles on a dark black background. Billed as a "Night in Hell" the artwork certainly enhances that impression. Arthur Brown had a hit with a song called "Fire", during which he not only claimed that he was "The God of Hellfire" but set his wig on fire on stage! A hard act to follow, for sure. This cardboard concert poster measures 15" x 23". The piece is in Very Good condition, with a large tear at the upper left edge, pinholes, handling, edge wear, and two scrapes on the top edge. Still presents well. Jumps right out at you!
