Fantastic, original concert handbill for an event held at the Hearst Gym on the UC Berkeley campus. Billed as a "Hippie Fair and Bazaar, and presented by "The Pretentious Folk Front". Featuring Country Joe and the Fish, the SF Mime Troupe and much more. The show date was April 29th, 1967. Pictured in the Art of Rock book on page 215, plate 2.278. This piece measures 8 1/2" x 14". This is only the second example we have had in more than 30 years. The condition is Excellent, with small staple holes in the upper corners, lightly folded in fourths, and writing on the reverse.
