AUCTION - The Charlatans - Rock n' Roll Ball - 1966 Poster - California Hall - Very Good

Here is a very rare, original concert poster from the Family Dog. This is the Rock and Roll Ball held at California Hall in San Francisco. The show date is February 4, 1966. This is the same night as BG 1 in the Bill Graham Series. This is truly at the beginning of the San Francisco scene. This is two weeks before Family Dog Number 1. There were probably 500 or less of these printed. Now, nearly 60 years later, our estimate is that there are 5% or less that still exist. This poster measures approximately 15” x 19 7/8”. The condition is very good with multiple pinholes in the corners and the borders. There is a triangular crease in the lower left quadrant along with some light stains and handling. A fantastic example of an extremely rare poster.
